ABOUT MY PRACTICE

Welcome, you’re in the right place.

My name is Dr. Claudia Pascale. I’m a licensed psychologist with over thirty years of experience providing psychotherapy and assessment services. I specialize in infertility, third-party reproduction, and perinatal (pregnancy and postpartum) mental health.

With my advanced degree, extensive training, and years of experience, I have become a trusted voice in the field of reproductive mental health and can offer valuable assistance in navigating the many challenges life brings, including the emotional turmoils of depression, anxiety, and obsessive thinking.

My private practice provides support for general mental health patients, and infertility and Third-Party patients, as well as consultation for physicians, fertility centers, agencies, and attorneys who specialize in reproductive services.

Some of those challenges include:

  • Infertility

  • Fertility preservation

  • LGBTQ family-building,

  • Single Mothers By Choice

  • Pregnancy loss

  • Perinatal anxiety and/or depression

  • Developing one’s motherhood/fatherhood identity

A trusted voice in reproductive mental health

I began my career in psychotherapy and supportive counseling, after receiving my master's degree from Antioch University and a PhD from Fordham University.

As the Director of Psychological and Support Services at the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science at Saint Barnabas for over two decades, I helped patients navigate their family-building journey, developed support programs, assisted staff in providing patient-centered care, and was instrumental in the development of the Third Party Assisted Reproduction Therapy Program.

As an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), I served as the Chair of the Mental Health Professional Group of ASRM, on the executive board for seven years, and was the Mental Health Professional Representative on the board of the Society of Assistance Reproductive Technologies.
